Biography

Elena Bombardelli was born in Bolzano (Italy) in 12/09/1978. She lives and work in Florence.

Starting from a classical education, she moves to abstractionism experimenting new tecnicques and materials. In 2004 she reaches figurative painting and develops introspective view of oneself, one's body and objects. Her art is grayscale or two-colors. She aim to get the observer in contact with autor's view, always keeping searching for beauty in every aspect.

Between '91 and '94 she studied painting under prof. Mario dall'Aglio; in 1997 she moved to Florence to attend lessons of painting at Florence's Academy of Fine Arts and achieves bachelor degree in 2002. She also in 2003 inscribed to humanities faculty at Flocence University, following courses on Art History and
obtained the final degree with a thesis on Carl Einstein and the relations between cubism and african sculpture (final vote 110/110 cum laude), with professor Alessandro Nigro.

2008 - realization of scenographies for the musical "Uno, due, tre... stella", in collaboration with Istituto Musicale Vivaldi, Bolzano;

2008 - realization of the cover for the book "Amore interrotto", author Luca Denti, edited by LietoColle;

2009 - realization of the cover for the album "Allo specchio" by the italian rock group Nomadi, for Warner Music Italia.
