The basic idea that moves my artistic research focuses on the ends of the human body: hands and feet are the first tool of contact with external world, beyond the visual, olfactory and auditory perception, which however are inherent to the structure of the point of view directed toward the subject.
Hands and feet as archetypes of the body and relations between bodies, between the body and its reflection, either physical as in a mirror or as a mental projection, between the body and its internal and external constraints.
The background, on contrary, tries to "eat" the portrait's subject, bringing it back to a white environment, almost oblivion: the fight, which will be neither epic nor high-flying, materializes in black and white forms, which would remain plastics, although for a little.
